Put the signup form on your own website

By causefolk · Oct 19, 2026

Your website is where people already are. Sending them somewhere else to sign up loses a few of them on every hop. Causefolk puts the signup form on your site, in your colors, without a developer.

The embed

Under Settings you copy a short snippet and paste it into any page. It loads your causes and shifts inside the page, with your accent color applied, and the signup happens right there. A confirmation email follows as usual. The embed works on any site builder that lets you add HTML.

The WordPress plugin

On WordPress, install the Causefolk Embed plugin, enter your organization’s slug once, and use the block or the shortcode on any page. You can pin the language to English or Spanish, or let the page decide. The plugin is thin on purpose: it places the embed and does nothing else.

Or link to the portal

Every organization also has a hosted portal at its own address, with your logo and colors, where your folk browse causes, manage their shifts, update their party, apply, check in and read their hours. A link from your site’s menu works fine if you would rather not embed.

Protected against bots

Every public form can sit behind Cloudflare Turnstile, which is invisible to almost everyone and stops the scripts that would otherwise fill your roster with nonsense. Rate limits per address and per email sit underneath it.

One account for all their organizations

A person who helps three organizations on Causefolk signs in once, on causefolk.com, and sees all of their shifts, hours and things to do in one place, with a calendar feed for their phone. Your embed and portal feed into that without any extra work from you.

Your colors, your words

What you write stays as you wrote it. The chrome around it, the buttons, the validation messages, the emails, follows the person’s language and your organization’s accent, and never shows another organization’s name.
